COVID-19:
All employees should follow federal, state, and local guidance for protecting themselves against COVID-19. These guidelines can be found at www.cdph.ca.gov. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or suspect you may have COVID-19, please follow your regular call out protocol and contact your manager/supervisor before reporting to work for instructions on next steps.
CA Meal & Rest Breaks:
Jordano’s/Pacific Beverage (the Company) encourages and provides the opportunity for all employees to take their CA rest and meal breaks.
For hourly employees in particular, the Company policy is to relieve employees of all duty during their meal periods, so that employees are free to use their meal period times as they wish.
- At no time may any employee perform off-the-clock work.
- Please note that no Supervisor is authorized to instruct an employee how to spend their personal time during a meal period.
- It is your responsibility to immediately notify and report a supervisor’s instruction to skip or work during a meal period to the Director of Human Resources, (805) 679-7755 or x7755.
- Otherwise, it is assumed that any missed rest and meal periods were your own choice and not the fault of the Company.
